We are pleased to announce that registration for Bike MS: Keystone Country 2010 is open and ready for donations!
Western Pennsylvania cyclists have been strapping on their helmets and hopping on their bikes to move towards a world free of multiple sclerosis. As a result of their dedication, great strides have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of MS.
Bike MS is more than just a ride -- it's a ride with a mission. Our goal is to have more than 500 cyclists take on the challenge of the 2-day, 150 mile 2010 Bike MS: Keystone Country Ride on July 24 & 25 2010…will you be there?
Event Information
Whether you are new to Bike MS, looking to get back in the saddle, or a devoted yearly rider, this is an event you don't want to miss. We welcome novice to experienced cyclists and will help you train with a new online tool, TrainingPeaks, and help you fundraise with an online personal page and other tools! We make participating easy!
Bike MS cyclists enjoy two full days of riding through rural Western Pennsylvania. On day one, cyclists can choose to ride about 75 miles or really take on the challenge of a full 100 mile century option. All routes are fully supported with HAM Operators, SAG drivers, completely stocked rest stops every 10 miles. On day one, you will start at Hollidaysburg Area Jr. High School. All cyclists will end day one at Penn State, and then travel together to back to Hollidaysburg on day two. At the conclusion of each day's ride, cyclists are greeted by cheerful volunteers, a delicious, hot meal, ice cold beverages, and live entertainment. It's a great time, you should join us!
In 2009, cyclists and volunteers participated in the event and raised almost $1 million to create a world free of MS. This year, our goal is to raise $1.1 million! We can do it with YOUR HELP!
Bike MS is an opportunity to move yourself and help move us closer to a world without multiple sclerosis. Over 400,000 American families must deal with the uncertainties of multiple sclerosis each day. Accomplish something for yourself and for others living with MS by participating in Bike MS: Keystone Country Ride in 2010!
Pledge Minimum
All riders must commit to raising the minimum pledge of $250 by the day of the event. All participants must have $250 turned in to pick up your rider credentials needed to participate. If you have not raised $250 at the time of packet pick up, you will be asked to sign a “Promise to Pay” form and you will be charged for the remaining balance due after the fundraising deadline.
